wiCow is an AgTech innovation created by muTech GmbH, founded in Hannover, Germany, in 2019. Our interdisciplinary team of veterinarians, embedded-systems engineers, and artificial intelligence data scientists develops scientific solutions to the most critical challenges in modern livestock farming.

Unlike conventional neck collars or ear tags that track only external behavior, wiCow uses its patented medical-grade Tsens intravaginal biosensor to measure core body temperature, uterine contractions, and physiological parameters in real time. This allows birth complications, missed estrus, and infectious fever conditions to be detected before clinical symptoms become visible.

With R&D offices in Hannover, Germany, and Istanbul, Türkiye, we protect the welfare of thousands of animals and the profitability of hundreds of modern dairy farms from Europe to the Americas.

wiCow predicts calving with 96% accuracy, giving a 24-hour advance warning and an immediate phone call and app notification when calving starts.

Can wiCool work without wiCow?

Yes. wiCool can run on barn climate monitoring alone. Adding wiCow brings in the cows' own body-temperature data, so cooling reacts to heat stress in the animals, not just the air.

How long does installation take?

Typically 6-7 days, depending on barn size, connectivity and the number of cooling zones.

Do you offer phone call alerts?

Yes. You can configure app notifications and optional phone call alerts for critical events such as the start of calving.

What herd size is wiCow suitable for?

wiCow scales from small family farms (50+ head) to large commercial operations (5,000+ head). Sensor quantities and infrastructure are tailored to each farm.
