German Pilot Farm Results: The Economic Benefit of Preventing Heat Stress
We completed the 12-month results report for our measurement and monitoring project conducted at 12 family farms in the northern German state of Schleswig-Holstein, covering a total of 2,500 dairy cows.
Zero Medication, Happy Herds: Thanks to the wiCow calving-prediction module, postpartum uterine infection rates fell by 80% among cows receiving early intervention. Calving success rose above 99%.
Milk Yield Protected: During the high temperatures of July and August, herds actively using wiCool experienced no milk loss compared with the control group and achieved 30% more milk per cow across lactation, together with a higher fat ratio.
